Certified coated metal plates and polystyrene blocks are perfect for testing the accuracy and functioning of coating thickness gages, and they play a significant role in meeting ISO and internal quality control criteria.

Many organizations demand gage accuracy verification at the test site before putting a coating thickness gage into operation, as well as at regular intervals during use. DeFelsko certified coating thickness standards are ideal for this purpose since they feature measurements that can be traced back to a National Metrology Institution.
