Sound level monitoring is critical in determining whether protective measures are needed for employees who are frequently exposed to loud noise. Use the Extech SL400 dosimeter to conduct noise surveys that meet OSHA, MSHA, DOD, ACGIH, and ISO regulations. An SL400 noise accumulation study can measure total sound exposure over an 8-hour period. This compact, lightweight dosimeter may also function as a sound level meter, logging up to 999,999 values with sample periods ranging from 1 second to 24 hours. An optional 94 dB calibrator allows you to execute ANSI-compliant pre- and post-calibration checks. The SL400 includes with PC software for controlling setup, retrieving recorded events, and analyzing real-time measurements.
