The Extech 96VFL13 Temperature PID Controller includes fuzzy logic enhanced PID and a soft-start feature to prevent heaters from cold starts. PID plus fuzzy logic can handle even the most demanding applications, reducing overshoot, undesirable process variations, and drift. The gentle start feature is appropriate for procedures like those used in the thermoplastics sector, where precise, slow heating of various materials is required. Accepts thermocouple and RTD inputs. It includes a single-stage ramp and soak program with a ramp-to-set point restriction, which can be paired with the soft start function to meet essential process demands. Complete with mounting bracket hardware and screw terminals for simple wiring. Also available with two relay outputs (96VFL11).
