Extech's MO257 Moisture Meter provides non-invasive, pinless moisture measurements on wood and building materials. This meter is simple to use and includes an automatic calibration feature. It also has a ball moisture sensor for smooth glide on hard or fragile surfaces. A big backlit triple LCD displays moisture readings as well as maximum and minimum readings; the user may also set two alarm levels to display a visual alert (flashing "RISK" or "WET" indicators) and a beeper alert.
