The FLIR VT8-Series includes high-quality voltage, continuity, and current testers. They have an improved, open-jaw design that allows them to fit into tight locations and accurately measure large-diameter wires. The VT8-600 has a CAT III-600 V/CAT IV-300 V safety rating and a measuring range of 100 A/600 V, whereas the VT8-1000 has a CAT III-1000 V/CAT IV-600 V safety rating and a measuring range of 200 A/1000V. The VT8-Series' extensive measurement functions make them multipurpose tools; just one meter will do the job.
