It is the first low-cost digital ultrasonic leak detector, providing remarkable functionality for a fraction of the price of conventional ultrasonic equipment. The flexible AccuTrak® VPE-1000 has separate ultrasensitive sensors for airborne and contact ultrasound. The VPE-1000 Ultrasonic Leak Detector is extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of leaks and friction in industrial systems. It uses a method known as "heterodyning" to translate ultrasound to a lower frequency that our ears can perceive. AccuTrak® Ultrasonic Leak Detectors are so sensitive that they can identify leaks in the blink of an eye, but most background noise does not interfere with their accuracy.
