The Extech EX470A True RMS Multimeter and Infrared Thermometer is ideal for HVAC or plant maintenance, as it measures capacitance, frequency, and duty cycle and includes two Type K remote probes. The IR thermometer monitors surface temperature without touch between -20°C and 270°C (-4°F to 518°F). The built-in laser pointer helps to center the measuring area. It can measure AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, current up to 10 A, resistance up to 40 MOhm, continuity, and diode tests. It also features a Type K thermometer that can measure contact or air temperatures ranging from -20°C to 750°C (-4°F to 1832°F). The meter comes with test leads, a 9-volt battery, a protective pouch, an adjustable tilt stand, and a velcro hanging strap.
